Greetings,

On behalf of the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated,  Gamma Delta Omega Chapter, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our official website.

I invite you to explore the website and learn more about our programs of service, upcoming events, and continued commitment to be of service in Portsmouth, Virginia, and the surrounding areas. I also encourage you to observe Twenty Pearls, Incorporated, the foundation of Gamma Delta Omega, organized for charitable and educational purposes.

Gamma Delta Omega was chartered by eleven lovely ladies who dreamed of having a chapter of their own in the city of Portsmouth, Virginia. On October 6, 1939, that dream became a reality and thus began a history of service that continues today. This amazing graduate chapter has a membership of over 200 women, all dedicated to sisterhood and service.
